What is The Bench?

The Bench is a solo courtroom game. You’re the judge: draw clues, organize them into the case slots, and rule guilty or not guilty — then flip the Jury Card to learn the truth. Read the cases right and your standing on the bench climbs; rule recklessly and it falls.

How to play

• Draw & decide. Each turn you draw a card and either slot it or discard it — there are no take-backs, so commit from memory.
• Build the case. Fill the slots with the clue types — Motive, Witness, Evidence, Weapon, Alibi, and History. One clue per type; duplicates are reasonable doubt, not a stronger case.
• Rule. Decide guilty or not guilty once at least one slot is filled, then flip the Jury Card. A bold call on a thin case is legendary — a reckless one can end your career.

Your progress

No account or sign-in is required. Your record, history, and case progress are saved only on your device. Deleting the app erases that progress permanently — there is no cloud backup or way for us to restore it.

Reset your record

Want a clean docket? Because progress is stored on-device, deleting and reinstalling the app starts a brand-new judge from nothing. If you’d like an in-app reset option, let us know.
